So this past week has been so awesome! Moses is the most prepared
person I have taught since last August when we baptized Elisa! We had
a dinner lesson with him at the Jones house and he asked what he can
do AFTER he gets baptized. Man he is so set! We had 3 lessons with him
and each one keeps gettin better and better! Yesterday we asked him if
his family back in Liberia knows about him getting baptized and he
said that his wife wishes she was with him so they all could do it!!
So maybe we will try and send some missionaries her way in Liberia.
Not sure how but we will try. We had him come to a members home who is
also Liberian and he loved it! We also moved his date to the 20th cuz
there is no way he should wait till the 27th. An added bonus to that
is that transfers are on the 24th so I will for sure be there for it!
So Moses is pretty much our prime investigator right now. Not much
else in the teaching pool unfortunately. We're trying to find some
more though! Last night we ran into this Vietnamese guy on our bikes.
His name is Hai. When we first met him at this intersection he seemed
super interested! He wanted to see the church right then so we bike to
the church with him. We got there and showed him around and then he
turned real loopy! He was upset that we didn't have a bottle of water
for him as soon as we walked in and all this jazz. It was a very weird
experience. Then he was shocked we haven't met our prophet. And he was
even more shocked we didn't know his address! (Because he wanted to
tell the prophet that there needed to be bottled water for everyone).
So ya that was super weird. He was kind of creepy. He wanted to come
to our apartment and check it out and then come to his place after.
Idk this guy was a bit different! Then we got a text from him just
barely saying. "Where are you now". Hahaha don't worry we didn't tell
him where we were.
We had a really cool MLC on Saturday with elder Soares of the 70. He
is just the nicest guy and his Brazilian accent is cool. Right now
we're playing some volleyball with some other missionaries. I love you
all and I'm super excited to see where Hannah is going!!
