Thanks mom, it's so awesome to hear everything that is going on back home. Wow where do i begin. I guess I'll start with conference. It was Awesome! even though we were all stuffed into a gym. But seriously tho, i think i got more out of it than any other conference i have watched. I took notes on EVERY talk, even if it was just a little bit i tried to get something out of it from all of them. And another thing about it was before conference I wrote a question down that i had and the very first session i got an answer....whaaaaat. very cool. Oh and Sunday night we had a devotional and the guest speaker was SWEET, his name is Vai Sikahuma (I think i spelled it right). He played football for BYU a long time ago and went on to play in the NFL and played in 2 pro bowls. He just told us of his missionary experiences not just in his mission, but after it as well. Oh and another thing is that he is a stake president in Philidelphia. But one of the best parts of his talk was when he told us that because he was looking for missionary oppurtunities, there is now a Butanese ward in Salt lake City. The ONLY Butanese ward in the world. Anyways i guess you kinda had to be there? But i have been learning a lot. My testimony is strengthening for sure, like there have been so many times that the spirit has worked its magic that i cant deny it! Teaching is still kinda a struggle though. I'm hoping i can get better at it. We went to the temple today! it was different because we did it all in one room... i much rather prefer the moving rooms idea.
Can't remember if i told you this but were leaving the MTC on the 15th at 3:30am.. and there will actually be a crew of us, there are 4 companionships that i know of going to Minnesota. I may or may not need you to send some more clothes.. like pday clothes(shorts shirts socks yadayada). So that's how my life has been!
The food here is very questionable. It messes up your insides.. So everytime we go into the cafeteria i think to myself what food item am i not going to regret later? and which ever one meets that expectation is what i have to get haha.
So again its good to hear from all of you and the next time you'll here from me i'll be in Minnesota!!!
